Born from the heart of a cooking enthusiast, SHAN ZU started as a dream. Our founder, a passionate cook, was frustrated by the knives available on the market. They were either exorbitantly priced or of poor quality. He envisioned a brand that would offer the best of both worlds: an affordable price and uncompromising quality. That is how SHAN ZU was born.

 Our name, SHAN ZU, belongs to a renowned ancient Chinese chef. She mastered shan shi, healthy recipes, and created many famous dishes. It reflects our commitment to kindness in every interaction and mastery in every knife we make.
